is Ardence Desktop?
Basically
the Ardence Platform is a software solution that simplifies
the task of provisioning, managing, and securing systems throughout
an organisation. How does it do this?
1. First you take an image of a standard
desktop PC and store it on an Ardence server.
2. Then you remove the hard disk from all
of your PCs that will use the same standard desktop.
3. Then you configure the PCs to use the
Ardence server based image when they boot
Very
simple and utterly secure the Ardence Platform is the obvious
successor to thin-client terminals, providing all the performance
of a modern desktop PC with the ease of use and very low maintenance
of a windows based terminal.
